Redbreast Lustau Edition is a rich and sherried single pot still Irish whiskey, crafted in collaboration with the renowned Bodegas Lustau in Jerez, Spain. This expression is initially aged in ex-bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks before undergoing an extended finish in first-fill Lustau sherry butts, resulting in a bold, fruit-forward whiskey with deep spice and nutty complexity. Bottled at 46% ABV, it offers a beautifully balanced mix of sweet, spicy, and oaky notes.
Nose: Intense aromas of dark fruit (plums, raisins, figs), roasted nuts, sweet sherry, and toasted oak, with hints of chocolate and spice.
Palate: Rich and velvety, featuring flavours of dried fruit, caramel, dark chocolate, cinnamon, and nutmeg, balanced by almonds, toffee, and subtle oak tannins.
Finish: Long and warming, with lingering notes of sherried sweetness, spice, and toasted nuts.
