• The Nines (Devynerios) brand traces its roots to a traditional Lithuanian bitter known as Trejos Devynerios, which dates back to the 15th–16th centuries. Originally used in midsummer rituals, it followed a secret recipe of nine roots, nine barks, and nine blossoms/leaves—totaling 27 botanicals.

• The Nines modern brand retells this legend and continues the tradition, producing versions that celebrate Lithuanian herbal heritage.
