Drew Estate has added a completely new expression to the Tabak Especial line, the Tabak Especial Toraja debuted at the 2022 InterTabac Show & is an exclusive release for Europe and international markets.
The Tabak Especial Toraja cigar draws inspiration from a very special coffee that’s typically grown in Indonesia’s Sulawesi region of Toraja. Considered to be one of the world’s best coffees, Toraja is an Arabica bean that is grown at very high altitude, resulting in a beautifully balanced, creamy and rich coffee with notes of caramel, dark chocolate, fruits and herbs. A very small amount of Toraja coffee is also grown in Nicaragua, where it is almost exclusively reserved for use in celebrations of life.
Luscious and luxurious, Tabak Especial Toraja combines the Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade Grown wrapper used for Tabak Especial Medio with Tabak Especial Oscuro’s Mexican Maduro wrapper to create a two-tone appearance. The wrappers surround a blend of Sumatra binder and Nicaraguan filler tobaccos to create a cigar that’s smooth, rich, sweet and earthy.
